Owner
Winnapaug Construction is a family business, carried through three generations of concrete and masonry work across Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. The trade was handed down the way it should be - on the job, mix by mix, pour by pour.
What I tell every new hire: how concrete turns out is decided long before it cures. Get the layout right, set the forms square, get the base and the mix right, and the pour goes clean. Cut a corner you think no one will see, and it shows up as a crack six months later.
We stay accountable. We don't hand the job to a stranger and disappear, and we don't chase the next quote while yours sits unfinished. We pour it, we finish it, and we stand behind it. That's the whole pitch.

How we work
On a lot of jobs, the concrete crew is whoever was cheapest that week, gone the day after the pour. That is where you get cracks, settling, and a number nobody will stand behind.
We run it differently. Our own family crew owns the work from layout to the final finish - forming, pouring, finishing, and the masonry - so there is one name accountable for how it turns out and how long it lasts.
Our crew
Forming, pouring, finishing, and masonry run by our own crew - the same hands you met on the estimate.
Done by hand
Foundations, floors, walls, and flatwork poured right, plus brick, block, and stone laid by hand.
One point of contact
Estimate, scheduling, the pour, and any questions all run through one crew that stays accountable to the finish.
How we work
01
The names you meet on the estimate are the names running your job. One family crew stays responsible from layout to the final finish - no dozen subs pointing fingers.
02
Every scope is written down - the work, the materials, the allowances, the timeline. No surprises mid-build. No change orders unless the scope actually changed.
03
If a defect or installation issue shows up after we finish, we come back and fix it. That's not a marketing line - it's in the written quote.
